Caricature

The word "Caricature" is derived from the Italian Word " Caricare" Which means to enaggerrate. Caricature started on 14 century in italy. in those days caricature was taken as form of experimental art.
In due course of time, the purpose of caricature has also changed. Now, it is used in different forms. Many people do caricature of certain people to make other people laugh. Caricature is also the artistic skill of a person. However, we have different form of caricature, it can be physical or can be verbal. Physical caricature is formed by the movement of body through which different activities can be shown where as verbal charicature done by speech. These days, the most effective form of caricature is cartoon. We can usually observe these in news paper.
Caricature is used especially to satire political leader and celebrities. Though the main purpose of caricature is for humor but it also tried to make people aware of present situation.
